He lives alone with his mother, who is an alcoholic because Kyo's father died in Old Fiona. Kyo is sarcastic and pessimistic, while also having no friends. His day-to-day is just going to school every day with perfect attendance since that's the bare minimum to graduate, and then he plans to get a job to support himself and his mother since she has completely shut down and doesn't provide for them. When he's speaking normally, he usually sounds disinterested.
