Patty sounds kind of rougher than a girl but it's still obvious her voice belongs to one.
Marcie sounds nicer and softer compared to her.
In the beginning, Patty should sound lively like she's having fun and calling out to someone. While near the end, she should have a tone of sadness in her final lines. Not too sad but close to the tone of acceptance of defeat. Almost nostalgic like.
Marcie should sound like she's sorry, having quite a sad tone of voice as well, Almost tired sounds about right.
Peppermint Patty:
A little rain, a little mud, this is what it's all about.
Hey Chuck, it's a great game isn't it?
Nobody shook hands and said "good game"
Marcie:
Everyone's gone home sir. You should go home too, it's getting dark.
