Magia Record - Arc 1 Recap + Arc 2 Prologue English Voice-Over
Rea for Rika Ayano
A bubbly, outgoing Magical Girl who gets along with everyone she meets and keeps up with the latest fashion trends. Deep down, she has been hopelessly in love with the same person for years.
"Hey, thanks for all the help! Seriously, you guys were great! Kano, Emirin, thanks so much!"
"The other day, you invited me out. Then you saw me with Kano and Emirin... That's why you're upset, right?"
"Hey, come on! Don't stare at it like that! I've never done anything like this before, so I know it's not perfect, but..."
Hello Takara Yukimori, as someone who has submitted auditions in multiple of our audition cycles and as long-time supporter of our project, we thought it would be helpful for us to give you some feedback on your auditions in order to help you improve! Overall, the main issues we were able to identify in your auditions were audio quality, character portrayal, and acting technique. For Yachiyo Nanami, we felt you gave her a strangely menacing vibe in her first audition line. For the second audition lines, the acting felt more like stage-acting rather than voice acting in that it felt over-the-top in a way that would work for a stage with a large audience but would not work for a recorded product with more subtle nuances in voicing. Furthermore, the sound quality of your voice isn’t the best and there’s a lot of background noise in your recordings. For Rika, we felt your acting had good potential. However, there were certain things that held it back from being great. Your weakest moment was with the second audition lines. Rather than being regretful, it came off as very flat. But in turn, you actually did a good job with the first and third audition portions; the emotions feel real, and you make interesting choices with your speaking pattern that made listening to you enjoyable. The voice itself would need more to be more girly and extroverted to truly fit Rika, however. On the technical side, you were able to get rid of the background noise, but we’re assuming you had to use a noise reduction program on some very loud, constant noise because it seems the tradeoff is that the sound quality has degraded significantly. In the server, you’ve mentioned before that you use a headset microphone. We suggest investing in a proper microphone if you want to improve your chances of being casted in our project.
