Astrid's voice is normally a lower deadpan, almost monotone in the way that it sounds.. until she has a rare moment of emotion, in which case her voice is known to squeak or crack.  Mezzo-soprano to alto in terms of tone.  Dipping on inflections like their stress pulls at her from within.  

This character is a POC and thusly we will be prioritizing casting those who have that same life perspective!
