Forget Me Not

Character Description: Shoji was born on July 27 and is sixteen years old at the start of the story. He is a second year student at Kodama-yami High. He is the son of a rich business owner and is the heir to their family’s company. After school, Shoji works alongside his best friend, Keitaro Sato, at a café called “Lovecraft”, which is owned by his Keitaro’s mother. Shoji takes the money he earns from his father’s company and invests it into the café as an anonymous benefactor.
Voice Description: Shoji‘s way of speaking is very lax and may even come out sluggish at times. He doesn’t make too much effort when it comes to inflections and usually retains a nonchalant tone in his voice. However, when he takes things seriously, it’s as if he is a whole other person, almost as if his true nature was hidden under the guise of an easy-going person. On an emotional range, he is mostly relaxed and doesn’t change up too often, but during serious scenes, he does take it up a notch when it comes to being focused, frighteningly so at times.
“What? Never seen a guy sleep next to a trash can before?” (He is answering someone when asked why he is sleeping next to a trash can.)
“It’s cozy, no one bothers me and I can easily throw my trash away when I eat snacks. It’s a win-win, I think so at least.” (He is explaining why he sleeps next to the trash can.)
“You know, it’s starting to get real weird with you following me around like this. I don’t even know you.” (He is starting to get uncomfortable due to someone following him.)
“I promise you it’s not a joke. I have no idea who you are and why you keep insisting that I have anything to do with you. Just leave me alone.” (He is attempting to stop a person from following him.)
“I’ve told you before to not make a scene! I have your money and I’ll wire it to you soon. Now back off and never show your face at the café, or you’ll regret it. Trust me.” (He is on the phone with a loan shark that was trying to extort money from Shoji’s boss.)
“Oh—uh, nothing ma’am, just talking to buddy of mine. I’ll get back to work now, so please go ahead and rest.” (He is covering his conversation on the phone from his boss, who gets tired easy due to illness.)
