Finlay is a male of later high school age who you come to meet inside the witch's house. He's a victim to the witch but is indeed more of a hostage to her, if anything. Having been in the gingerbread house since he was of junior high/late middle school age, he has developed a great deal of knowledge of the place and is key to escaping/beating the witch. 

As a character, Finlay is very playful in almost a manic way, making him appear as if he could care less how a situation winds up. He has developed an immense sense of sarcasm and doubt, having grown up watching children fail to escape time and time again. The voice you give him should reflect on this and portray a slightly sadistic but playful person and be more on the medium side regarding pitch while maintaining a somewhat sarcastic/teasing tone. 

He is deemed as a possible love interest for Gretel.

(On an old casting people kept trying to give him an almost villainous voice/very nasally voice, please avoid this as it will be an automatic turn-down. He is still a normal person/teen.)
