Lagann is Simon's personal robot and one of the only sensible members of team Dai-Gurren. He starts off as very hesitant to work with Simon but as the series progresses they become close friends, their growing friendship becomes one of the driving forces of the story. In terms of voice think Jarvis from the Iron Man films. 

  • [Immediately after being woken up for the first time in ages, he's frantic and a bit disoriented]

    WHAT YEAR IS IT? IS MYSPACE STILL RELAVENT?  A-are you my father?

  • [Calmly while floating in the sky]

    I'm glad your last memories will be happy ones because I'm out of fuel and we're gonna fall.


  • [First an inner monologue contemplating the inspiring speech he just heard, then switching to yelling aloud]

    There's no way in hell we're going to win this fight, then again... death does sound better then having to stay servient to a pre pubescent child...

     YEAH LETS DO IT! WE'RE TOTALLY GONNA WIN!
