Batu is a gentle and kind 18 year old boy, who's selfless and probably wouldn't hurt a fly.  He doesn't say very much, but he's very nice to Nyneve and was around when her father was killed.  He can get along with almost everyone, and is basically the human equivalent of a golden retriever.


I picture him with a medium-low voice that is soft and gentle.
