Charlesse joined the crew after his initial fight against Jotaro and Gioseppe and he figured out that he was fighting Jotaro and revealed who he was and that he wanted to help. His role is comparable to Leone Abbachio in Vento Aureo or Avdol in Stardust Crusaders.
