In-universe, she's cast as the lead heroine of the game Kuroneko of Eternia 2 and shared the same makeup room with Moesaki during their game's stage event. She guest-starred again in episode 12 working with Futaba in an unnamed project, where Futaba showed concerns regarding her teammate Ichigo hiding her injuries which could affect their first concert performance. Horie then shared how she enjoyed working within a unit note, noting Futaba on the importance of getting along with colleagues and having each others' backs in times of distress.
