Kagome is a normal girl tasked with recording the lives of Magical Girls. She frequently gets nervous and talks through her stuffed animal. Her goal is to one day share her record with the wider world to help save Magical Girls.

  • "Magical Girls fight against the Witches that drive us into ruin. But they are victims of an unreasonable fate. To save them I need to spread the word. To spread the word I need to record."

  • I wish I could be brave enough to talk with people instead of being so secretive about this..."

  • "What Iroha Tamaki said that day is true, isn't it...? Witches and Familiars are dangerous beings that bring harm to people. And Magical Girls defeat them..."

Hello Strawberrirage! As you requested in the server, we will be providing additional feedback regarding your auditions. We believe that your voice was the closest out of all the auditions to being quintessentially Kagome. We liked how gentle you sounded and the undercurrent of distress that was going through the performance. it really made us feel the empathy your voice radiated as an ordinary, shy girl doing everything she can to spread awareness of something she is outside of. On the technical side, you will definitely need to speak louder though, as the mic is already picking up some background noise. We recommend speaking louder while also lowering the gain on your mic. If your mic’s gain cannot be adjusted, we recommend investing in a better microphone. Finally, be careful not to rush your lines as it can lead to stumbling on your words and ending a sentence on an odd note that comes off as jarring. We also suggest reading through your lines and practicing them a bit before submitting them. As for your other auditions, we felt your tone and voice often came across very monotone and lacked the emotional diversity present in the lines. (As a note, Tamaki is pronounced “TAH-mah-ki” and Kagome should be pronounced “KAH-go-mei”)
