Rob is a broken man looking for hope. His friends are finally back but he's been alone for a prolonged period after his daughter was taken from him while he served time in prison for manslaughter. He's a decent human being who killed someone on accident and deeply regretted his actions. For 8 years he was the superhero known as "American Hurricane", then he spent a year in prison and got out months ago. Some consider his sentence a "slap on the wrist" due to his good reputation. Losing his daughter as well as the reason why both still haunt him.
NOTE: has a slight southern accent.
"So Venom... still wanting to learn how to be a hero from me, huh? Didn’t you say you were once bonded to the original Spider-man?"
(reluctant, hesitant but looking for hope. The character is desperate enough to listen to Venom, knowing what it is- but is still cautious of the alien goop that is Venom)"In the name of justice and all that is right- you criminals are going DOWN!"
(intentionally cheesy and corny. Think a patriotic hero. This is the persona American Hurricane likes to put onto himself prior to getting the Venom symbiote onto himself)Rob sighed,”It’s awkward but.. I do want to give Venom that chance. It’s also been nice having a partner to talk with. Like a friend. It’s been...quiet… at home.”
