The protagonist, a young man who has vowed to eliminate the kabane. Headstrong, reckless, and passionate. Has a strong sense of justice and will stand up for what he believes. He does what he can to help others, even when they distrust him.
(reflective, somber) Fifty years ago, the citizens of Hinomoto took refuge within stations. They cast aside their friends, their pride, and fled.
(hopeful, determined) If we can mass produce the piercing guns, we can fight the kabane!
(yelling with conviction) My reason for living… is to defeat the Kabane!
