Joel is very level headed and takes things seriously but he also knows when to lighten the mood and to let go of whatever's in his mind. For reference he's a mix of Joel Miller in The Last Of us and Dr. King Shultz in Django Unchained.
Can you please listen, you’re not a hero Angela. This isn’t like those god damn hero books you read, it’s real life. You need to start getting smart or people aren’t going to want to contract you.
To clear things up, I had no knowledge of that man’s actions. Another thing, we lawmen aren’t really appreciated among the common folk.
Well if you spent your time doing actual law work instead of buying fancy suits, you’d be hot on the trail by now.
