Shadow Freddy shows up a couple of times throughout the series. Mostly as a cameo appearance, but near the end of William's life, as he's being crushed in the Springlock suit, Shadow Freddy comes out and tells William that he will pay for what he's done. Give Shadow Freddy a ghostly voice, yet not like Phantom Freddy, they will have two very distinguishable voices. 

  • "Well William, looks like you've brought all of this on yourself. You will pay for everything you have done, all the pain, all the sadness, all the agony. Is all because of you, and now you will rot in the deepest darkest pit of hell. I do not envy you. So long Afton."
