Nabi is a well-meaning but mischievous girl who lives up to her nickname - "The Gremlin" - for her energetic and eccentric nature, though she can be timid and easily-frightened as well. Born prematurely to a pair of immigrant parents and enduring a sickly childhood, Nabi has spent most of her social life at the bottom of the heap; she endured bullying for most of her academic career due to short stature, her Korean roots, and for just being seen as "the weird kid", unfortunately putting a lot of Nabi's self-esteem and confidence in the toilet. However, Nabi remains sweet and unashamed by her interests, which led to her being best friends with the big man on campus, Atlas. Along with her adoptive brother Alistair, Nabi lives her life just being who she is and finding new ways to enjoy it.
Vocal notes: THIS CHARACTER IS BILINGUAL. Nabi is fluent in both English and Korean. If possible, an actor who can speak both will be hired, otherwise two separate actors may be casted: one for English and another for Korean. Nabi sounds bubbly and friendly, but her voice and carry an edge when angry.

Um...damn. [Calling out.] Hey, Al! Have you seen my flashcards? I flubbed my lines again, and I wanted this video recorded by tonight. [Her dog walks in, tongue out. Nabi reaches down and puts her paws up on the counter and hands her a whisk.] Cover for me. I don't care what you do, but if you start going off about how the moon landing was faked, I'm cutting your salary."
[Frightened.] "I-I don't know what c-came over me. I came in from the vent, it was the only way I could get in from the hallway I came from, and I - he just - [swallows hard, her voice breaks] He had Atlas by the throat, I just saw red. I-I wanted - I had to - [She thrusts the knife to Alistair, shaking.] Here, take it. I don't wanna hold it, I don't wanna look at it, I just - just want to make sure Atlas is okay. I don't care what you do with it, just keep it away from me."
