The Director is the main bad guy, though only appears towards the end of the movie. He is the mastermind behind the missing people, having the power of hypnosis. He became so powerful by stealing technology that allowed him to send his hypnosis through a syringe that could be shot at people. At the time of the story, over 50 people had gone missing. He finds people with strong powers that he can benefit from. Much of his past and personality is shrouded in mystery, but his main objective seems to be control. He is also very cautious and calculated, making him a very hard person to find.
