[UNPAID] 1 Lead Role & 5 Extras for "Stages," an RPG Maker Game
Alina Rodríguez for Player Character
For this role, the kind of voice I'm looking for is a young adult/adult (20s or 30s) female voice, with a calm/soothing tone that will be easy to listen to for the player. Any accent is fine, as long as the words are very clear and easy to understand. The player character will have the most dialogue, by far: almost 1400 words (around 140 lines, easily over 90% of the text in the entire game). By comparison, the rest of the characters all have less than 35 words each.
NOTE: You will NOT need to split up the lines into different files, or do any editing or anything like that! I can handle all of that at my end - I want to make this as easy as possible for the chosen VA.
(afraid but trying to hold it together) "It was like my legs had turned to stone, or there was an invisible wall in front of me. No... I didn't know why, but I was AFRAID to go a step farther."
(losing her cool and getting angry/frustrated) "Why...? Why?! Is there no way out of here?! [frustrated scream]"
(very calm/peaceful) "It's so peaceful in the shade beneath this tree. There's a light breeze, and the leaves sound like they're whispering."
I didn't end up selecting you for either of the roles you auditioned for in this project, but thank you so much for taking the time to audition! As far as feedback goes, you did a great job with your audition, but ultimately your voice sounded just a bit too young for the character. As for your other audition, I loved it, too, and it's just a matter of the competition being so strong on this casting call. Thanks again!
Thank you so much for considering me for the roles and giving me feedback on my auditions even if I wasn't selected, I really appreciate it! The project seems amazing, and I look forward to playing the game someday in the future. Thanks again for the opportunity, and good luck with your project!
Thank you! :)
