Gurquos for Captor 2
Captor 2 is one of two character involved in a fight scene with the main protagonist in e01, and is ultimatelly killed in a brutal melee fight. We are looking for a gruff but realistic take on a bad guy - someone with his own background and feelings, not a generic villain. He offers Emily several chances at de-escalation but she refuses every time, forcing him to continue the fight. His voice should be a mix of trained soldier and blind panic. The scene also requires grunting and fighting sounds
For final recording, you will be asked to join us on Zoom or Discord for direction. The project has a fixed fee of $35 which is negotiatable
Emily and her captors are moving deeper into the West Bank Prison. A nearby explosion makes them stumble.
CAPTOR 1
What the hell was that?Captor 1 rushes to the window. He looks outside and sees smoke rising from the front of the Worker’s Mart.
CAPTOR 1
Jesus Christ, the Mart is under attack! We should double back and go help at the entrance.CAPTOR 2
No way, that second shock came from the prison complex. This isn’t just a bombing, it’s a planned breakout!While the guards are distracted, Emily looks at the keys on Captor 1’s belt. She looks at Captor 1 and 2, waiting for a chance to strike.
CAPTOR 2
If we can group up with the guards we should - AAARGHL! YOU GODDAMN B-
Taking advantage of the distraction, Emily lands her heel on the knee of Captor 2, and bull rushes Captor 1. Captor 1 fumbles with his holster, but is too slow.
CAPTOR 1
FAULKNER, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU - WAIT, NO, AAARGH!Emily smashes into him, grabbing the keys attached to his belt. Captor 1 is thrown back and crashes out the window. He screams all the way to the ground, finally crashing into a parked car. Emily, in panic, fumbles with the keys as she tries to unlock her cuffs.
EMILY
Come on, come on, come on!Suddenly, the arm of Captor 2 appears
CAPTOR 2
YOU TRAITOROUS SNAKE!Captor 2 smashes Emily’s head against the windowsill, sending her flying backwards. Captor 2 gets out his billy club and whacks Emily over the head. Both collapses into the broken window frame, sending glass all over and cutting their arms. Captor 2 uses his club to put Emily in a chokehold and lifts her off the ground.
CAPTOR 2
(Struggling) You put him out a goddamn window, you psychopath!EMILY
(Struggling) Don’t… play dumb… with me… you assholes. You’re a goddamn death squad! I’m… not going… with youEmily bites down on Captor 2’s hand. Captor 2 drops his club as he reaches for bleeding hand. The two catch their breath for a moment.
Emily looks and sees the handgun Captor 1 dropped.
CAPTOR 2
Don't even think about it!
Emily and Captor 2 dive for the gun.
CAPTOR 2
I SAID, DON’T. EVEN. THINK ABOUT IT!
Captor 2 tackles Emily as she reaches the gun. As Emily is thrown backwards, she fires two shots and misses. Captor 2 is stronger, he holds her arm with the gun down. Emily puts her free hand in his face. Captor 2 reaches around and unsheathes a KNIFE. Captor 2 holds up the knife, ready to plunge it down into Emily's heart.
CAPTOR 2
It’s over Faulkner, drop the weapon!EMILY
