Despite describing him as "mean and overbearing," the rumors Rie recounts state that Itto "is not a thug" and beyond trying to pick a fight with Kujou Sara at every turn, is generally a kind person, playing with children, setting up bug-fighting arenas and playing trading card games. Due to his Oni heritage, Itto is extremely prideful in both appearances and competition, although he is able to concede when absolutely necessary. Shouta complains that Itto always takes the few snacks he has when he wins and he forces friendly competitions with Yoimiya.
