The way-past-cool, speedy blue blur that rocked his world over with his own fateful genesis. Sonic's an excitable, attitude-driven optimist who lives by his own rules rather than what people impose on him. At this point, we all know him too well; he's got spunk, snark, speed, the whole package, while still potentially being your best friend.

For the voice I want you to emulate or bring out... I don't care. Really, it doesn't matter to me if you try to be Ryan Drummond, Jason Griffith, Roger Craig Smith, or your own interpretation; it just matters to me that you evoke the Sonic spirit. I've never held a favorite as far as these particular Sonic VAs go, so I'll hold no bias towards any and all performances. But just for references...

Again, I am not saying you HAVE to follow these VAs to a T. Whenever I try to do Sonic's voice in anything, I don't make it sound like ANY of the listed VOs: rather, people I myself would want to see voicing him (Mostly people from Studiopolis, BangZoom!, or Funimation, namely Max Mittelman or Kyle McCarley for Sonic) in a Sonic fashion. So don't feel discouraged about putting your own spin on it either!
