NICOLE is an AI of varying origin throughout continuities, but one thing that stays utterly consistent is her role in being the best friend of Sally Acorn. NICOLE is a computer modeled after a Lynx, and is thus much of a fish out of water, not knowing as much about the world as the rest of her friends around her. Though she interfaces with technology quickly, most of her character revolves around being the informational specialist during missions, and when OFF a mission, the "servant", even as she wishes to be much more.
