Vero was abandoned in the building after the company failed, and he roamed the rooms for 28 years when the building was actually gonna be destroyed. He was able to run off, and he lived in the countryside after that. he never had even seen the outside, before that time! He was clueless, scared, and not able to tell anyone what he went through because he didn’t know any language! 
He named himself Vero because it was his manufacture code, originally v3r-0. 
Vero can’t explode, but because of that, sometimes he overheats, and that causes him severe headaches and heartburn. He also has an eye that was wounded, that he cannot open, that sometimes leaks black-ish liquid, that is his blood. 
When he first got out of the building, he ran off very far away and heard a big thunder-like noise, that was the building collapsing after it was mined to be destroyed. (it was planned by the government so that was legal) after then, he started going out to the city at night (where he met lu :]) but he mainly stays in the country! he feels at home there.

Vero headcanon is Julian Casablancas (so a high-pitched male tone!)
