Great comments - you are likely right but the words are guiding the story in your thoughts this way, but really you can do WHATEVER you want with any script and make it as emotional as you want. YOu are in control. Yes, that script lends itself to be more emotive but this one could as well - you chose instead to follow the norm and be begging kim to listen. . I get why and it very well could be what the client wanted but I know that most of the people auditioning will read it that way too - so what can I do different - well you could have read it the way you would have approached the girl script. But translate that onto this script - then it would have been a most unique audition. You did a decent job here - I loved how you approached the first line - he was strong and frustrated, but then he just kept begging her throughout and I wouldn't STAY in that emotion for as long - this is typical for all of us - so we want to find more vocal variety to change the scene up a bit - beg less sometimes, laugh, secretive etc. PLay with more dynamics in your delivery - but good approach to the copy
