See, but that is where you are wrong. L—- (barely able to bring himself to say it) Love is not like a feeling or emotion. Feelings are fleeting. Emotions linger, but they eventually fade as well. Love is a state. It is a reality. It increases the perception of those who are in it. Their inner world changes, so their outer world follows suit. They will want to share their perception of this new reality with others, and if they are successful in that endeavor—-O Barktruckle—-we will have an epidemic on our hands.

Is that really what you think? That things are different than they were a hundred, a thousand years ago?  The external world around them may change, Barktruckle, but their nature remains untouched by time! Just because their society may develop into something new doesn’t mean the human condition changes with it.
