I read it cover to cover during those times when I was feeling those feelings for my real parents, the anger toward them, the longing to find them. But the book goes on and on about forgiving those who have hurt you, wishing well on them, loving them even. It helped me realize that whatever the reason my parents gave me away was, they did have a reason. And whatever those reasons may have been led me to the best family unit I could ask for.
