Unpaid
Role assigned to: Shaleah Haley Wagner

Tall, insecure, awkward, and hopelessly in love, Helena's got her fair share of problems. She's a bit of a creeper when it comes to her love interest and she harbors a subconscious hate towards Hermia for her unparalleled beauty.

She is a noble and speaks rather posh and formally
British accents are more than welcome but not required
All you need is uncertainty, cynicism, and a decent helping of creepiness

1-3 takes for each line, however many you're comfortable with

  • D-did you just call me beautiful? You're lying! You're the beautiful one here... Ugh you're so lucky! Your eyes shine like stars, your voice is sweeter than a bird's in the springtime! If the world were mine, I'd give it all up to be you. I'd give up everything if Demetrius would love me. Teach me how to be you!

  • He's making a huge mistake chasing after some girl who doesn't even love him...
    I shouldn't say that. I'm making the same mistake aren't I?
    ...
Oh! I know! If I tell Demetrius that Hermia is running away, he'll be so grateful to me for the information that he'll realize he should be in love with me instead!
    [slight creep]
Plus I'll get to see him if I have a good excuse to talk to him~

  • Oh fine! Alright! Go ahead, keep up your little game! Pretend to be sympathetic for me and nudge and wink at each other as soon as I turn my back. Go ahead! Keep it up! You're all doing such a wonderful job of it, someone should write a play about it. If you had any manners or even pity for that matter, you wouldn't pretend to fight over me like this.
Whatever. It's my own fault for following you. I guess I'll just leave... or die...

Oh hey I can hear this one! Idk what switched between the Hermia and Helena audition for you, but the Helena set up definitely works better for your volume, I think. Alright, technology aside- The desperation, the depression, the urgency is all there and it works great. The yelling toward the end was the perfect volume and blend of anger and sadness, and It was really nice to properly hear you for it!
