This was difficult to critique, It is quite well done! Your first script is particularly good, I definitely got a hopeless vibe from it. For the second script, my only suggestion would be to try putting a super big awkward smile on your face and keep it there through the whole read. C= <-- like that. However I certainly could hear those undertones of disgust you identified, and I absolutely can see that working in the right setting. My one other point, though it very well could be nit-picky, is to try to reduce mouth noises on your recording. Overall you did well, keep it up!
