Hey caleb. Such a nice PROFESSIONAL slate - but it's almost CORPORATE - so corporate is JUST FINE however more personable and more fun is even better. Next time - answer ME asking you in a super sarcastic way - HEY WHO THE HELL ARE YOU? then just give me your name back in a fun, confident, playful, fun kind of way. Nice opening - loved your laugh and love where your character is for the audience the client asked for. I would want a bit more actionable moments for this character and that would give me just a bit more variety in there naturally. Loved that Otter sounded like it was the same character as the demon. that is a VERY important part of this audition - this is supposed to be the SAME PERSON basically but with an evil side so the person who is going to nail this audition is someone who will showcase that this is the same character with multiple personality basically. While you've done that, I would also add that it does NOT say this is a disjointed scene. SO, I believe that the character who morphs into the other personality in mid dialogue will win over the client. Treat this as one scene and he morphs in the middle of it. That's the ticket on this one and the homework becomes believing you have multiple personality - or perhaps he isn't aware of it....So that's the other gem to consider with this kind of direction. Nice audition though and I could totally direct your characters here.
