“Bookkeeper” Nilss is the administrative master mind of the mercenary band and manages most of the practical matters of the Frozen Feathered Ravens for the commander Grunnar Vestgrud. He accompanies the commander in most matters not related to warfare.
Nills is a bit softer but still on the mid to low voice range. He thinks before he speaks and knows what he is doing.

(thoughtful) We should be able to cover all costs if we finish this next assignment before week's end.
(offended) Of course the numbers add up. I've checked it twice and twice again. The only logical explanation is that your troop drank too much last night, And the barman ripped you off...again.
(serious and determined by the campfire) Exactly. And it is because you care that much that your men will follow you to the end. But they NEED strong leadership. They need to know that you will make the tough choice when it comes to it. If you don't send them to their deaths when it's needed, you will lose something more important than their lives. You'll lose their respect.
