Ruth Adams is a psycho-therapist who works at Arkham Asylum under administrator Doctor Charles Cavendish. She has a unique perspective on some of Arkham's patients, as well as on certain methods of treatment. She believed that the Joker had no core personality. She also achieved some measure of success in curing Harvey Dent, aka Two-Face. She weened him off his compulsion to base all of his decisions upon the flip of a coin.
