Derrin Macabre is a twenty-year old lord of the Macabre household, located in the heart of Fae territory. He was groomed to be a gentleman, a kind lord, and a good role model to the area. His human side took to this in the proper way. However, his grandfather's imp blood runs deep in his veins. His great grandparents, being a fairy and a demon, created this line of mischievous and excitable young men. And Derrin falls into this truth. For whatever reason, he now wanders the world, longing to return to his rightful home. Into the loving arms of the family members who love all the parts of him. Now that he's on the road, he's prey. He may be mostly human, but many seek out his impness, and not for good...

Derrin is a caring, honest, and intelligent soul. He can be naive, but he tries to be thoughtful and gain knowledge as he goes. He will put himself last, if it means that his loved ones are safe and happy. Derrin can sometimes be awkward, or suppress his emotions, all in an attempt to hide his imp heritage from showing through. When he's excited or feeling strong emotion, Derrin's imp wings spring from his back, his eyes glow yellow and he can control dark magic, and some Fae magic as well. But, with his phobia of being found out, and fear of death lurking over his head at all times, he keeps quiet and modest. Perhaps someday he'll find peace with who he is, and stand on his two feet...
