Medium to Medium-low voice.

Note: Greed is the protagonist, since this is an audio series you would also have to voice the narration. You would have a lot of lines.

Personality

The Great Thief Greed, in popular media, has been something of an enigma to the public eye. He heralds his thefts with a calling card placed where the treasured item used to be, with a raven holding a key in its beak. It’s said that his vault of treasures lies deep underground, in an area unreachable by any normal means, and that one has to vault through gauntlet challenges to so much as peek into the wonders of his hoard.

But to be honest--It’s all crammed into one room in a studio apartment,  where a tall, lanky man is still on call with a black market buyer who has put him on hold for twenty minutes.

Greed scrapes by on what he knows best. Abandon yourself in order to survive, keep your wits about you to thrive. Ocean blue hair with cascading locks, the Great Thief finds no need for lavish expenses, instead finding comfort in the smallest of things. He does his best to live up to the persona his predecessor came up with for him, but often finds himself on the sloppy end of things. Still, he somehow manages to stumble into grace for his ultimate title.

  • (Introductory, slightly flirtatious) "Actually, handsome, I don't have a name. You can just call me Greed. And how would you feel, Mister Vanderbilt, if I were to tell you I am the Ultimate Thief? Take a look at this one with me, if you will--A coin from a long deceased civilization. And I use it as a plaything."

  • (Dark, smug, condescending and teasing) "Well do you, or don't you? Because all that sobbing made me believe it was causing you suffering, but now you're saying it didn't matter? Oh, my darling treasure, for God's sake. Make up your mind. Did you like the gift, or did you hate it? It's agony not knowing which is which."

  • (Open, remorseful. A soul-bearing moment in the story.) “Originally, kid? I was going to fuck around, here. I wasn’t going to be close to anyone. I figured the best way to survive here was to just… Ignore everyone. Pretend they weren’t there, don’t get attached. But… You two. Each time I talked to the two of you… You would remind me of pieces of myself I buried a long, long time ago. This isn’t some sob story or hope for redemption. This isn’t a Great Thief that sits before you, with another job on the table. This is just a fucked up kid who abandoned too many people in his life, who thought some second chance was waiting if he could just… If he could just try hard enough.”
