Phoenix has hit a rough spot, as such his voice should reflect that. 

He shouldn't be monotone, but he should be a deeper medium tone, with a twinge of sadness. He should be very relaxed when speaking, almost like he just wants to get back to bed and be done with everything. 

However, his voice should go back to the powerful boom when he finds himself having to say Objection.
