The Island Keeper is a role that's being recast, replacing the previously used computer voice. He lives in a cave on Isla Incahuasi, Salar de Uyuni, Bolivia, which serves as a place of worship for a fictitious religion. When people visit his cave, they can learn about his gods Hacanis (which should be pronounced Jacánis) and Amawanis (which should be pronounced Amahuánis). The characters of the movie (some of them have been to the cave before) meet the Island Keeper to get helpful information from his all-knowing gods. Your tone should be annoyed in a funny way, but not rude.
This role should preferably be played by an indigenous or mestizo person from Bolivia or Peru, but anyone from Spanish-speaking Central or South America is fine, especially if you're indigenous or mestizo.

ISLAND KEEPER
I’ll say the prayer first. Repeat after me.
Candles light up around the room.
ISLAND KEEPER
Our dear Hacanis,…
[The other characters repeat the line]
ISLAND KEEPER
…we know that we’ve never met thou and that our previous experiences don’t give us much faith to believe in a higher power again.…
[The other characters repeat the line]
ISLAND KEEPER
…But one of our friends is in trouble. If thee tell us where he is, and if thy help ends up saving him, then we will be very inclined to believe in thou.…

ISLAND KEEPER
…May thou give us guidance on our little trippy ahead! Amen!

(shouting)
Island keeper! Helloooooo! Are you heeeeere?
The island keeper is shouting back from inside his cave on the island.
ISLAND KEEPER
(annoyed)
Oh my fucking God, someone’s here AGAIN? Every few hours, someone wakes me up! I can’t sleep! And I can’t get sleep medication because my two gods don’t allow me to leave! What do you want?

It is me, Aqilah! I was here about thirteen years ago. I came with two other humans. Do you remember me?
ISLAND KEEPER
Of course! I remember everything!
