I may not be related to the project (Yet maybe XD), but I hope you won't mind my attempt at feedback regarding your audition. The thing I'm hearing right now is that you're not emoting. You sound like you're just reading the script, not trying to act it out. Like when you have to read something aloud at school, and comes out all bland and robotic. Which is a common thing in the voice acting industry from what I can tell so far. Not necessarily bad, just something that you should work on(And I still work on too, even though I've been voice acting off and on for around a year now). Someone gave me a tip one time on how to emote better in recordings, and I'd like to share it with you, that tip is to try imagining what the character is going through in the moment of the lines. Like, for example, Chongyun's second line, the one where he's describing himself, imagine yourself in his shoes, meeting a traveler you really want to go on adventures with, and trying to sell yourself to them. Like, hey, this is what my family has done, and therefore what I can do. And then with the part where it goes "Oh no, my services are free of charge!" that's where you've realized you gave off the wrong impression to said traveler and are trying to explain, no, I'm trying to get you to buy my services, I'm offering them for free! That tip's been a really good tool for helping me get into character and staying in character, when I remember to use it XD. I hope it might've helped you too, at least a bit! Have a lovely day/night!
