(annoyed) "A little too much care is the more appropriate way to put it. I have to make sure the stitching stays in place. After all, clothes do make the man. Or person, if we are going for gender-neutral terms."
The accent is spot-on and the tone is just right, though the voice needs to be a little lower. Otherwise, I think you fit the role just fine!
