This will be a reoccurring part.

The first Incanteress of Wynhold, the scapegoat of all the crimes of the early Wynland Kingdom, an age of heroic stories and savagery--she was credited for the savagery. After she's had enough of playing both hero and villain, she fled to pursue other plans, knowing full well the consequences. As she grew older, the weight of the world, of the balance of magic has worn her down, made her more morally grey.

Voice: Light Irish accent, having faded over time in the company of English accented folk. Behind her, more than anything is frustration. Nobody understands the importance of her mission, or the depths of what she's trying to accomplish. She's capable of deep remorse and rumination, but also capable of being as vindictive and frightful as the worst of her stories imply. Quite possibly neurodivergent.

Tips: Morrigan is pronounced more like Marrigan.

  • [Tempest, paraphrased] No harm was done. I have done nothing but in care of you, of you, my dear one—you my daughter, who are ignorant of what you are, with no knowledge of who I am or where I came from, nor that I am more better than Morrígan, your humble mother and keeper of this poor island hovel.

  • [More Tempest] My brother, your uncle—I pray you listen, that a brother should be so decietful! My brother who—aside from you—I loved more than anyone else in the world, I trusted to manage my state, of all the great powers of our land it was chiefest. And I, being so reputed, in dignity, and for my craft, without parallel. Your false uncle—do you listen?

  • "Duinna, lanovran zan erensanel…  Navnal nashevrasanasanal…kanashesanasanal." [Resurrection spell translation: Duinna, guardian of life… Give to them their bodies, their sight, their strength.  May they be angry…may they be dangerous.]
