Time Period: 18th Dynasty Egypt, 1345 BC

(Inspired by the mysterious disappearance of Nefertiti.)

Voice: Her voice must hold power and authority. She demands respect with her words.

Personality: She puts herself on a higher pedestal than everyone around her. Regal, methodical, and cunning. She has a sharp tongue and is not afraid to say what is on her mind.

Backstory: From the moment of her birth Nephysera was destined for greatness. She was chosen to be the vessel of the great gods, to become the ruler of her kingdom. She married at age 14 to the Holy Pharaoh Atenaten. Although she despised him she put up a good front and they ruled together for five years. Bringing hope and spreading the beliefs of the gods.

When Atenaten died of a mysterious accident she was crowned Pharaoh. She was popular by many, but hated by a select group called the "Cult of Osiris." After the first attempt on her life she began studying the art of war and self defense. She ruled solo for several years as the chosen conduit of humans and gods. Now she has been chosen again to pass through the rift, and traverse Nowhere.

  • (Narration) Mortals are fascinating creatures. I noticed it first in her eyes. The way they betray her words of confidence when they shimmer and shake in fear. This ever haunting notion of death’s lingering presence. A concept I have all but forgotten, for a god does not bother with such trivial matters.

  • (Narration) The relic is cold in my hands. An object so odd and angular with etchings flowing down the sides and radiating out a soft blue light.

  • (Dialogue) You think you can scare a god. I know not of your people or your intentions, but I will not hesitate in defending myself. Plus I hold this relic of death, I would advise you tread cautiously.
