Jetstorm's name implies a much more turbulent personality than his outward behavior would suggest. He is perhaps the most easygoing of the Air Defense Team, but his agreeable nature and tendency to go along with whatever Runaway and Sonar say leads many to believe that he's somewhat slow. This is not so; Jetstorm is just a very thoughtful and intro spective mechanoid. Of all the Air Defense Team, he harbors the most pent-up anger against the Decepticons for the imprisonment of his people.
