Elaine Walters is the morally compromised mother of Jenifer Walters and she’s also a mother figure for her nephew Bruce Banner. After the death of Bruce’s mother and incarceration of his father, Brian Banner (Elian’s Brother), in 1995 Elaine adopted Bruce. Eliane took Bruce in and raised him as if he were her own child. Elaine grew up with an abusive alcoholic for a father, she was a loner who didn’t have any friends other then her brother and sister; this had an major impact on her as a person. After seeing her best friend/brother grow up to be a cold blooded psychopath she questioned who she was as a person, this lead to her trying desperately to be a perfect parent with perfect children, this wasn’t exactly the best thing for Bruce and Jen. Despite being very harsh at times and being a very questionable parent Elaine loves her two children and she will do anything for them.
