A kindhearted and goofy magical girl, ex-manager of the Fukoka branch of the Magical Girl's Association. Her reason for no longer being the manager has never been publicly announced, and is a common source of speculation amongst magical girls.

Despite her true reason not being publicly known, behind the scenes and when talking to veteran magical girls, it's clear it wasn't pretty. In a rough battle, Meiko's echo (what grants magical girls their power) was corrupted. She was taken in by the enemy soon thereafter and was brainwashed into joining them. Her personality completely flipped, and all signs of the cheerful girl were ripped away. Now a cold and sinister husk of her prior self, she appears perfectly content and almost happy to be fighting against her prior friends.
Ako!! C'mon, we're gonna be late!! If you dont hurry up, i'm leaving without you~~! *she giggles to herself.* Seriously, though, hurry up!

Oh, Akane... You haven't been in battle in ages, have you? Too afraid your previous mistakes will occur again, I presume. What a pity. A simple desk job just doesn't suit you at all. Oh well. Just means a powerful magical girl is afraid to fight, which benefits me wonderfully.
