Hermosa is one of the main character's (Morgan's) ex-wife. Morgan was her husband for around 12 years before she(her husband) came out as transgender. It wasn't taken very well, and she immediately got very defensive. Hermosa divorced Morgan and took custody of their children, assuming that becoming a woman was a sexual thing for Morgan.
Hermosa is a very hated character that says some very cruel things.
(Lecturing her son) "Reiner!! What did I say about bringing bugs inside the house?"
(Snapping at her husband) "Can I just have 10 minutes to myself?? Without it being about you or the kids?"
(Screaming, disgusted, angry) "Just get out of my house!! Get out. Of my fucking house!"
