The main subordinate of Admiral Tecksis, Captain Kora Quiin was born on Kuat in 29 BBY to a middle class family.
One of the youngest Captains in the Imperial Navy, Quiin is not a very ambitious person, having only joined the Navy to support her family.
Despite her young age, Quiin is a better commanding officer than Tecksis could ever hope to be. She also isn't a very big fan of the Emperor, but keeps her opinions to herself in fear of angering Tecksis.
She is also in a secret relationship with Lieutenant Roger Ask, though most of the crew (except Tecksis) know about it anyway.

(In a flirtatious tone) Roger (Sputtering) I-I mean, Lieutenant Ask, please report to my chambers at once, please.
(In a normal tone) Admiral, I don't think executing a high ranking Rebel general without getting any information out of him first, won't do you any favors with the Emperor.
