Akkun is a laid back, but down to earth friend of Takemichi. He leads his gang of thugs until they join the Tokyo Manji Gang, where he becomes little more than a punching bag for his upperclassmen. He doesn’t leave the gang after his adolescent years, and becomes a leader of sorts for a division of it. By that time, he is a worn down mess that is on the run for the law.
