As a former marine, Anaru has all the training he needs. Anaru joined the military in order to send money to his family, but has cut ties with them otherwise to protect them. After getting caught using his ability during a mission, he gets kicked out. Akio hears of this incident and recruits him. He has an affinity for pottery and makes most of the cups, plates, etc. for the HQ
