While Charizard is the hot-headed, strict, no-nonsense and impatient Dad, Blastoise is the complete polar opposite. In fact, Blastoise dotes his young Wartortle and Squirtle no matter what and is proud of it, too! Maybe a bit too proud as he sometimes spoils them too as well as Charmander and Bulbasaur. Every get-together Charizard, Blastoise, and Ivysaur have, the Water-Tank Turtle Pokemon always brings in an ice-cream cake for the young Kanto Starters to eat! Being a fun-loving and calm parent who wants nothing but the best from his children, Blastoise always has time to understand something!
