Tamago-kun for *NEW* Shoto Todoroki
Shoto’s character in this series is that he's super serious and takes literally everything that said to him or comes his way at face value. He’s robotic, emotionless, takes things too literally, and absolutely does not understand humor, sarcasm, or not much of anything at all.
Just a heads up, of all the auditions on this casting call so far, this role is the most major. So if you get this role, be ready to work in almost every episode of the abridged and be able to work with the workload you're given.
For his voice, we're looking for someone that can talk like Todoroki’s Funimation voice. But with a more deadpan tone, as in he speaks with a “meh whatever” kind of tone.
(Deadpan, confused) - I don't understand. Why would Tenya Iida bite pillows? Does he have a repetitive tic? I can empathize, as I have many.
(Deadpan, informative) - My favorite food is those dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets. Especially the ones shaped like a stegosaurus. You see, stegosauruses are fascinating to me because of the spikes on their backs and tails. It makes them the ideal defensive animal. If more herbivores had spikes on them like the stegosaurus did, there wouldn't be sad documentaries about wolves eating rabbits.
(Deadpan, ever so slightly disgruntled) - I don't think I like you, dad. Your too mean to people, and you make fire fighters work even harder for them than it already is.
