Splattstoea for Commander Pontai Isaguru
Pontai Isaguru is a world-traveling do-gooder who was recruited into the Aldonian rebellion by Princess Emily for his tactile brilliance. He is an extremely calculated and skilled individual, both in battle, and in a duel. He was trained in the ways of the samurai when he was much younger, after being displaced from his homeland by war. Alongside Tygru, he has brought the rebellion to a much more favorable status against Henry's overwhelming military. If Henry has Endris, Tygru has Pontai.
Due to his brilliance and efficiency however, he often comes across as insincere. He acts without being very considerate toward others, as he simply wants to win.
Pontai's voice is probably the deepest in the book
“Hello Mr.Vorsten. I am Commander Pontai Isaguru. I’m glad Jarric found you. We need all the help we can get.”
(Pontai is pretending to be friendly as he meets Husky for the very first time, like your boss on your very first day of work. Reeling you in with smiles and nice handshakes and good treatment, and he is giving a cookie-cutter greeting that he's probably said to lots of people before)
“At least you’re good for delivering notes, hellspawn.”
(Pontai is giving Husky a hard time, and using "hellspawn" like a slur)
“That is the very thing I was attempting to do. You still have too much of your father in you, Prince Borel.”
(Pontai and Tygru are arguing, and Pontai reminds Tygru who his father is, by using "Prince" in a derogatory manner. The two are far away from each other, as Pontai is standing up in a castle and Tygru is on the ground)
