Blessed Lady
elleraines for Diana
Diana is a demigod in a world of ants with the power to bring ruin to reality. The actions she makes are worshipped by religions and embellished by fanatics. Humanity forced sainthood on her and her goddess toys with the strings of fate.
Everything, to her, is inconsequential. She is within an ant farm looking at bugs move dirt as if they accomplished something extraordinary. She watches over the ants in her prison because of a goddess that gave her life. Her voice is apathetic and -almost- lacks emotion (this does not mean her voice is flat and monotone). Her goddess has given her agency, and the gods made her the ant queen.
A death rattle... stand aside, Thea, I'll save them.
(A prayer to Diana's deity.
Read: You recite this prayer as you read the words a million times. It's as natural to you as turning on a light switch or putting on your clothes. It -won't- fail, it never fails, but you must recite the words 'sincerely' for them to bend to your will.
Your mouth emits sincerity, but your voice lacks passion. You're dead inside... as if on autopilot. Breathy, but broken... as broken the silence after crying your tear ducts dry.)
Line: Dearest mother...hear my cry... No more bloodshed, Thea. They will be imprisoned... and their rabid guard will not live to take another life.
